Like all good collaborations, they begin with an idyllic summer lunch in a boatshed fuelled by gallons of rosé, watching yachts drift by as the pace of life grinds to an actual halt. My friend and Pittwater neighbour Richard Unsworth (landscape designer at Garden Life) hatched a plan to collaborate together and design a candle fragrance that would pair with Richard’s third book, The Natural Gardener.
This candle captures the essence of our many walks in the Ku Ring Gai, Richard’s garden at Trincomalee and his design ethos of working with plants that are sympathetic to the Australian environment.
