This fragrance evokes the pristine wilderness and breathtaking diversity of Tasmania, from its rugged mountains and ancient Tarkine rainforest to the long, remote beaches of the Freycinet Peninsula. Native boronia and sassafras enliven the mind while lemon myrtle and native Tasmanian pepper suggest refreshment beside a crisp flowing river. Meanwhile, cedarwood imparts a sense of timelessness.
Scent: Spicy, citrus, fruity, green (herbal), smokey, earthy, woody (rich)
This richly layered fragrance is based on our Melbourne 1 fragrance and traces a line from the thrumming laneways of inner-city Melbourne to the wild and rugged shore of Port Phillip Bay, where native flora thrives. A trio of white cypress, wattle and kunzea conjures images of Melbourne’s crisp autumn nights and a delicate geranium leaf note nods to the city’s splendid gardens.
This fragrance encapsulates the sheer energy of Central Australian flora. A bountiful base of desert oak recalls the dry sandy plains that surround Uluru while native grass and wild berry notes signify a kaleidoscopic feast. A subtle hint of native mint bush opens up a quietly spiritual dimension.
10% of the profits from the sale of this candle will be donated to Tjanpi Desert Weavers, a social enterprise of the Ngaanyatjarra Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (NPY) Women’s Council that enables women living in Australia’s remote central desert regions to earn their own income from fibre art.
Tjanpi represents more than 400 female Aboriginal artists from 26 communities on the NPY lands, which cover almost 350,000 square kilometres across the tri-state (WA, SA, NT) border region of Central Australia.
