A coastal oasis peppered with close intimate valleys, hinterland wineries, rugged shores dotted with seaside villages and a thick green blanket of native forest. Cooling breezes from Bass Strait blow clouds away and allow sunshine to work its magic in creating colour, tannins and aromatics. Old vines cascade with pinot noir and pinot gris and sit quietly on ancient rich red volcanic soils.
A fresh opening from juniper, angelica root, pink pepper and kelp act as a spicy palate cleanser before a slow avalanche of native kunzea and its warm honeyed tones is met with sage and crisp native white cypress. Strength and poise are provided by a dense forest of Australian sandalwood, cedarwood, vetiver and birch tar.
This gentle and considered scent aims to showcase the vitality and terroir of the vineyards of this exceptional wine region located an hour south-east of Melbourne.
We acknowledge the Bunurong people, the Traditional Custodians of the Mornington Peninsula lands and waters and pay our respect to their elders past and present.
