Dear 2025: you were delicious
If 2025 taught me anything, it’s that scent has a wicked sense of humour — and a very long memory.
It delights in taking us places we shouldn’t go, whispering stories we didn’t expect to fall in love with, and reminding us that beauty is rarely obedient.
This year, the Raconteur wandered far and wide and finally stepped onto the world stage of perfumery.
We concocted the Ver-dic-T eau de parfum with the incomparable Kirsha Kaechele — a fragrant tribute to the triumphant resurrection of MONA’s Ladies’ Lounge, where provocation and pleasure hold hands under soft lighting. We scented the sumptuous tropical hush of the Sundays Hotel and the new urban cool-kid on the block: Hannah St Hotel in Melbourne. We joined forces with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra and Brand Tasmania to add a perfumed love letter to the performance by opera superstar Joyce DiDonato.

We released twelve new room sprays — small domestic spells for kitchens, bedrooms, powder rooms and lives that deserve to smell more interesting.
Then there was the world tour. Six new delicious fragrances in our Australiscious collection — Killr Vanillr, No-Tell Motel, Pavlova Kasanova, Ms Macadamia, Lord Lamington and Daintree Rain Tree — each one sticky with mischief, memory or both. Daintree Rain Tree strutted off with #1 Men’s Fragrance Launch in the World for 2025 courtesy of the Robb Report, proving that the quiet calm of the rainforest has impeccable taste.

We made a candle with House of Arras and the legendary Ed Carr, a man who turns grapes into gold and bubbles into Renaissance art. And with Charlton, we drifted down the Nile and bottled the heat, hush and history of ancient perfumery in our limited edition fragrance, Tangerine Palisade.
I spoke about all of this — and the things that sit beneath it — on some of the best scent
podcasts out there. Thank you Nicola, Suzy and Haydn in London, Emma, Sable and Tynan in NY and Clare back home in Aus. You all coaxed stories out of me that usually stay in my notebooks and I loved all our fragrant chats.

Meanwhile, back in Tasmania, the Farm kept growing. Roots deepening. Ideas ripening. A
vision taking form. You’ll hear much more about that in January.
Through every wild detour and carefully measured formula, you’ve been there — our customers, partners, suppliers, manufacturers, magicians and muses — and my amazing team.
Thank you for letting us scent your world and for giving me the freedom to dream bigger.
Wishing you a decadent, fragrant, and fabulous Xmas and holiday season.
xx Craig Andrade
