Capella Lodge x The Raconteur, Josh Yeldham & Malcolm Greenwood
It gives us great pleasure to introduce you to a new candle scent that captures the essence of Capella Lodge at Lord Howe Island.
TRIPLICITY
Over the past 4 years, three creative practitioners have each worked to contribute towards the beautiful storytelling that lies at the heart of this pristine world heritage environment.
The artwork on the sleeve is by Josh Yeldham, who has captured a glimpse of the immense mountains Gower and Lidgbird, drawing on his deep observation of nature while spending time on the island.
The organic ceramic vessels are handmade by master potter Malcolm Greenwood. Only 50 have been created.
The scent was created by our perfumer, Craig Andrade, and is based on his time spent on the island, including walking trails with Dr Ian Hutton, the island’s leading conservation scholar on its unique biodiversity where many botanicals are endemic to the island.
TRIPLICITY is a limited edition collaboration of 50 candles and is available for sale exclusively at Capella Lodge.
CAPELLA CLASSIC
We have also created a blue glass vessel version of the scented candle that features an iconic photographic image of Mt Gower. It’s available for sale via the Raconteur (online and in-store), and also at Capella Lodge.
