A Hot NY Minute
Launching the Raconteur’s first-ever gourmand collection in New York recently was an
unforgettable experience. As a perfumer deeply rooted in Australian culture, bringing our unique scents to an international audience felt both surreal and gratifying.
unforgettable experience. As a perfumer deeply rooted in Australian culture, bringing our unique scents to an international audience felt both surreal and gratifying.
The event at Stéle Perfumery was a full house, attended by wonderful guests, including Carlos Huber, founder of Arquiste, indie perfumer Joey Rosin, and leading podcast hosts Emma Vernon and Sable Yong.
We kept the event authentically Australian. Chris Yuille, an incredible Melbourne chef, catered the event with delicious candied macadamia nuts and an assortment of mini-pavs, lamingtons and vanilla slices.
A big thank you to the House of Arras for serving up the most delicious Tasmanian sparkling wine. It was great to showcase what we do at home, but in my hometown from 30 years ago: New York.

This collection is deeply personal, inspired by the connections between us. Whether those moments are 5 minutes talking to a stranger in a nightclub, 5 hours on a date night, 5 years in a long-distance relationship, or 50 years of friendship — these moments are the delicious moments of life. It felt only right that the gourmand family would be the vehicle to celebrate those stories.
A big thank you to Jake Levy and Matt Belanger from Stéle Perfumery for hosting and to Russh Magazine for capturing the event. You can discover the full story below.
